Atlantic Station is an upscale mixed-use commercial and residential area. Built in the early 2000’s, Orange Star worked with the original developers and management team from 2005–2010 (when the property was sold) on numerous design projects ranging from the original website, massive lengths of construction barricades (over 1600 linear feet!), a high-end coffee table style book about commercial office opportunities, promotional graphics, signage and more.
Opened in 2005 and built on the site of a formerly contaminated 138-acre Atlantic Steel Mill, Atlantic Station was one of the nations largest brownfield remediations at that time. At the time we worked on it, this “city within a city” was home to 10,000 people and retail/corporate names and landmarks such as Ikea, Target, Dillards, Wachovia and the Millennium Arch.
