Met Museum Releases High Resolution Artwork Images for Free Use Under Creative Commons license

The Met Museum announced on Feb. 7 that 375,000 high resolution images of artworks in its collection are now available under the Creative Commons license. This means that hundreds of thousands of artworks can now be downloaded and used for free without requiring special permission.
Head to the Creative Commons website, and you can search the image database by creator, title, or tags.
