What if it’s easier than you think?

How many times have you made something super complicated in your mind and then procrastinated doing it? Then when you finally force yourself to take action, you marvel at how simple and easy it actually was.

As a professional, I strive to provide elegantly simple solutions to complex problems. Also, I am a master at complicating things that can be quite simple.

A lot of things are easier than we make them.

Why not approach everything with the mindset that it’s easier than you think?

Making things easier and more effortless is all within our power. By taking a step back, simplifying our approach, and focusing on what’s important, we can create a life that is both meaningful and manageable — opening up new possibilities for enjoying the moment and moving forward with ease.

In Effortless, author Greg McKeown says:

“Motivation is not enough because it is a limited resource. To truly make progress on the things that matter, we need a whole new way to work and live. Instead of trying to get better results by pushing ever harder, we can make the most essential activities the easiest ones.”

“Instead of asking, ‘Why is this so hard?,’ invert the question by asking, ‘What if this could be easy?’ Challenge the assumption that the ‘right’ way is, inevitably, the harder one. Make the impossible possible by finding an indirect approach. When faced with work that feels overwhelming, ask, ‘How am I making this harder than it needs to be?’”

As James Clear said “There are no bonus points in life for doing it the hard way.”
