“Bad marketing values promotions. Good marketing promotes values.”

“Bad marketing values promotions. Good marketing promotes values.” ~ Simon Sinek

When you promote values, you’re connecting with people on a deeper level. You’re speaking to their core beliefs and helping them see how your product or service aligns with those beliefs.

Values are what drive people to make decisions. And when it comes to buying something, people will always choose the option that they believe best reflects their own values.

On the other hand, bad marketing is all about getting people to buy something simply because it’s on sale or they fear missing out (FOMO). There’s no real connection there. People are just being enticed by a discount or scarcity.

This may work in the short term, but in the long run, if you want to create a sustainable marketing strategy that will stand the test of time, it’s much more effective to promote values. When you do, you create a loyal customer base that believes in what you’re doing and is more likely to stick with you through thick and thin.

Now, what if we combine the two approaches? 🤔
