You’re not alone if you feel like you’ve been putting a lot of effort into social media marketing with little to show for it. In fact, you may be wondering if social media is the best way to reach your customers or attract new ones.
I do have friends and colleagues organically generating traffic and email subscribers via Twitter and others promoting their thought-leadership, and networking/nurturing relationships via LinkedIn. Both are viable, good strategies and both are time-consuming long-game approaches.
Fortunately, there are other methods that can be more effective.
Personally, I do not spend much time on social media for my business these days. I believe that when it comes to marketing, less is more.
