Don’t make me think — what should I do next?!

Don’t make me think. It’s a philosophy that good UX designers live by, and it should be your business’s mantra as well.

If someone discovers you, whether via referral, social media, speaking, or search engine results, how easy is it for them to determine their next step?

Is there clear messaging about what you do and for whom? Is there a clear path forward?

How easy is it for them to buy from you?

Don’t make me think. Make it obvious what my next step should be. Clear concise communication and a clear and obvious path to purchase are essential if you want to convert more website visitors into customers.
